Love it!
Es muy útil y facil de usar y gratis ! Thank you!!
I used the Navfree Mexico app on a trip to Mexico in March 2013. This app is not perfect, but it does not need an Internet connection which is invaluable to roam the back roads of Mexico. I used it on a long road trip from Oaxaca to the Pacific coast and back on a longer different route and it saved my bacon more than once!
I have been using this for a couple of years. We spend the winter in Mexico and do a great deal of car and bus travel there. We add locations as favorites, select one and the app does the rest. I would like it to show all of our current map relevant favorites in the same view to help put things into better perspective. The best part is that it works on iPhone WITHOUT cell service or wifi. Bravo.
I had to drive from Tecate to Tijuana. If I did not have this app, I would not have gotten there. I would’ve been lost alone in Mexico, and this is very dangerous. This app probably saved my life. Well, the Lord saved my life, but He used this app. Thank you for making this app free.
I think this app could be better if shows differents routes in the maps, then the user can choose which one is better. It would be great to show tolls in the maps
This app is great
I really like this app! I definitely recommend it
This app needs a lot of work. Just to give you a couple of examples. Some of the street names are missing from their maps. Also, some of the streets are missing. In Mexicali several of the main streets are not even shown. Like Avenida Francisco Maderos. Where a lot of the doctors are in Mexicali. Also Cristobal Colon, which is the street that takes you to the border crossing.
Be aware that this app requires your location ALWAYS. There is no need to know my location when the app is not in use. Nice try.
I usually dont take the time to review apps even though I rely on them(reviews) heavily, but I had to make an exception on this one. I went on a trip to Mexico City on short notice when I remembered that I forgot my GPS with Mexico maps when I was at the airport already! So I found this app and eve though it had some not so great reviews I decided to give it a shot, because it was FREE!!! So how my expectations werent that high to begin with but I gave it a shot. As far as Mexico City and Mexico State, Toluca to be specific, it worked better than my old GPS! At least thats my experience! I had to go back and forth a few times between these cities and even travel in Mexico City witch is a task of its own and it was great. Not only did it have good functionality, but you could type names of places Not necessarily the address and on most it would find, it even has a google option to look for places. My cell signal is really bad in Mexico and it takes five minutes to send a text, but this app worked great with low and no signal! I am really pleased with this app and highly recommend it! At least where I went it was good! Hope this helps!
This app is useless overseas without an Internet connection. Very unreliable and can actually lead someone into dangerous areas if theyre not careful.
